Python bootcamp materials
A client contacted me when they realised that the Python materials for their developers’ bootcamp wasn’t quite up to scratch.
With my client we reviewed the outline and it was very clear to me that much of the content wasn’t relevant to the overall bootcamp. Still on the call, I proposed a new outline. This meant scrapping a weeks’ worth of the original material. The quality of the experience is important to the client, so they asked me to develop some new course materials.
At that point the bootcamp was already running which gave us very little time. I created each day’s materials in a single day, discussed it with the tutor the next day, then made any final tweaks just in time for the tutor to deliver them.
I created 5 days’ materials and exercises, covering the popular Flask and Django web frameworks and an introduction to data analysis, which was delivered to about 50 students
